For over 25 years, Ferns N Petals Group has helped customers to celebrate their special moments by delivering fresh flowers and fabulous gifts. Ferns N Petals was established in 1994 and flower bouquet delivery was the first and only thing that the company was into. From a single store in Delhi during 1994, Ferns N Petals is now the largest florist chain with more than 320 stores (and still counting) across all the major cities and towns of India.

Challenges

Solutions

FnP needed a more efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure to support its growing digital business. While AWS had served its needs, transitioning to Google Cloud offered better integration, performance, and cost optimization. Ensuring a smooth migration without disrupting services was crucial.

Brio successfully migrated FnP’s infrastructure to Google Cloud, leveraging Compute Engine for core workloads and Cloud SQL for database management. A global HTTPS Load Balancer was implemented to optimize traffic flow, while Cloud VPN enabled secure connectivity. The solution also incorporated Memorystore for caching, Cloud Storage for data management, and Cloud Operations Suite for monitoring and security insights. Additionally, Apache OFBiz-powered transactional and non-transactional APIs were deployed on Compute Engine, ensuring seamless business operations.

Business Impact

With Google Cloud, FnP now benefits from improved application performance, enhanced security, and a scalable cloud environment. Optimized resource utilization has led to cost savings, while robust monitoring and load balancing ensure uninterrupted service delivery. This migration has empowered FnP to deliver a seamless digital experience to its customers.
