Livo.ai aimed to transition its workloads from AWS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. Their existing infrastructure required an optimized architecture that could efficiently support point-of-care blood analysis and whole slide imaging while ensuring secure and fast access to healthcare data for users and pathologists. The key challenges included migrating compute resources, databases, and storage while maintaining minimal downtime and ensuring seamless access to critical healthcare applications.

Brio Technologies assisted Livo.ai in designing and implementing a scalable and high-performance architecture on GCP. The solution leveraged Google Compute Engine for application hosting, ensuring high availability and reliability. Cloud Load Balancing was implemented to efficiently distribute traffic between compute instances, enhancing performance and fault tolerance. Cloud SQL was used for managing structured healthcare data, while Cloud Storage provided secure and scalable storage for medical images and reports. MemoryStore Redis improved application performance by enabling fast data caching. The integration of VPC and Cloud Firewall ensured a secure and controlled network environment.
