Challenges

Solutions

Malabar faced challenges in streamlining the deployment of applications of a DevOps project across different environments, including UAT, pre-production, and production on the Azure Cloud Platform. Manual deployments were time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacked consistency, leading to delays and inefficiencies. Additionally, managing deployments across Azure App Services and Function Apps required a robust process to ensure smooth rollouts and minimize downtime.

To address these challenges, Brio implemented CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the build and deployment process for all applications within the project. Build and release pipelines were set up to ensure seamless deployment to UAT, pre-production, and production environments of Azure App Service and Function Apps. The solution also included automated testing and validation steps to enhance deployment accuracy and reduce manual intervention.

Business Impact

With the new CI/CD automation, Malabar DevOps project significantly improved deployment speed and reliability. The automated pipelines eliminated manual errors, reduced deployment time, and ensured consistency across all environments. Teams can now quickly roll out updates, scale applications seamlessly, and maintain high availability with minimal downtime. This transformation has enhanced overall development efficiency, operational agility, and business responsiveness, positioning Malabar for future growth and innovation on the Azure Cloud Platform.
